    I am now officially part of the OBMCI Alumni Association, having graduated High school almost 3 hours ago.

    Parting is such a sweet sorrow. We've been hearing this cliche for years now, but today, its very gist hit all of us in such great impact.

    Our high school years have proven to be the best years of our life. We're young and carefree. And now, as we close the High School chapter in our book of Life, I can't help but look back on the memories, and the close knitted bonds formed during our stay in our Alma Mater, Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center.

    As I was sitting there, listening to Amb. Soliven's welcoming and very heart felt messages for the graduates, I can't help but feel guilty. I've never EVER realized the true beauty of the life of this woman. Before, she was just...the owner of the school, and a columnist, well-known all over the world for her role in UNESCO. But today, she spoke with such reverence, that I found myself wanting to live my life in the way she lived hers. She followed her dreams, and didn't let any hardship, or trial stop her on her way to achieving them. She is such a remarkable person, and I guess, its better late than never, talking about how I just appreciated her during my last day in Highschool.

    To Ambassador Preciosa Soliven, thank you for having perspective in making a chance in the hearts of young students like us. Mabuhay kayo.:)

    In the last part, a tribute to Max Soliven was shown, and found ourselves, once again, enthralled by the prestige of the Solivens. They are not famous because they're rich, but because they did everything that they can in order to help the next filipino generation, achieve their dreams, and have the goal in improving the condition of our third world country.

    Just like how Gat Jose Rizal said, the young people in this country will be the hope of this nation.:)

    Anyways, enough about the Solivens.:p

    To OBMCI Batch 2007, Congratulations. We had our shot in making a legacy in OB's history, and we sure did grab it. Good Luck on your future ventures.:)
